MOMS Club of Metairie-South Chapter
President- Hi! My name is Karen, and I am the President of the MOMS Club of Metairie-South. I was the first non-charter member to join our chapter in April 2005. I am a SAHM of three high energy kids. My oldest, Tyler, just started kindergarten and my other two kids are Logan, 3 ½ years old, and Sarah, who was just born this past June (2007). We moved to the New Orleans area from Maryland in October 2004 and love our life down here. The day I found this group of awesome women was a changing point in my life. It is so great to have other SAHM friends to get together with during the day. My kids love their friends, and I love the support and friendship. As the president, it is my responsibility to act as a liaison between our group and the community, as well as being in charge of the direction that our group takes. Vice President of Administration- Hi. My name is Megan and I am a stay at home mom of two beautiful little girls Jade and Jeneice and soon will be having another child in the fall of 2007. I have been a member of MOMS Club since Feb 2007 and it has really helped me and my children. The support that I have gotten from MOMS Club has helped us handle my oldest child who has some attention problems. I am the Vice President of Administration and my duties include helping the president and also planning service projects for our chapter. Helping and giving back to the community is a very important part of what MOMS Club is. I hope you contact us soon and find the same support that I couldn't live with out.
Vice President of Membership- Hi, I'm Stacy and I'm the Vice President of Membership for the current term. I've been a member of the MOMS Club since October of 2002. I have two daughters, Gillian who is 4 and Kristin who is 18. The MOMS Club has been such a positive force in my life and the life of my youngest daughter. It is wonderful to see the friendships my daughter has made and the women have been like an extended family to me. It has made the transition between working mom and stay at home mom very pleasant and I love getting up knowing I have a wonderful activity for us to attend during the day.
